The University of Pittsburgh hired me to help with thinking through generative AI adoption. In addition to the internal deliverables, we published some of our insights in an academic paper, in which we developed a new approach to the governance of generative AI in higher education. The paper was published in FAccT, one of the most prominent venues in AI ethics. 

This projects creates a maturity model for AI governance, based on the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. The model includes a questionnaire for evaluating and improving  social responsibility of AI governance at organizations that develop or deploy AI.

This project analyzes trends in AI regulation efforts in the US. It does so through identifying and analyzing federal AI bills, state AI bills, and AI executive orders. 

This report analyzes companies’ AI governance based on the information they publicly provide. Our data includes 254 companies

This guidebook establishes a workflow investors can use to evaluate AI-enabled companies during due diligence, monitor existing portfolio companies, and support the portfolio companies in improving their AI responsibility. 

I have reviewed 60+ resources for procuring AI responsibly in public administrations, synthesized them into a unified list of recommendations, and identified gaps. The paper is coming soon!

Bria.ai is a generative AI startup. My work as Responsible AI Advocate spans all departments, including R&D, HR, and marketing.

This project developed a method for organizations to identify which stakeholders they impact, which rights of these stakeholders are impacted, and what the organization can do to address the impacts.
